I’m sure you’ve also heard the phrase “The only certain thing is change” Change is so much part of modern society, but we have become skilled at adjusting to it.

There is significant research that shows that the most important affecter of change is leadership. Being skilled at managing change is therefore an important part of leadership development.  There are a number of models on how to implement a change initiative. To be effective as a change leader, however, takes more than just implementing one of the strategies.

How we lead during a change process is the key determining factor and this takes to more than just knowledge. In this section we will go beyond the commonly known change management models and look at the role of the leader as change conduit.
